The alleged kidnapping and gang rape of two foreign women in Pakistan has sparked a political storm. Senator Faisal Vawda, considered close to the military, has demanded the resignation of Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, as his grandson, Mohammad Raza Dar, is being accused as the main accused in the case.

A Dutch woman was reportedly recently abducted and raped in Pakistan. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is aware of the case, it is reported following coverage by De Telegraaf. The case is causing a shockwave in the country because the Deputy Prime Minister's grandson was arrested.
