Catholics in Southern California to Celebrate Sainthood of Carlo Acutis, Pier Giorgio Frassati
- Blessed Carlo Acutis and Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati will be canonized on Sunday, Sept. 7, in St. Peter's Square, by Pope Leo XIV.
- Commemorative stamps featuring Acutis and Frassati will be issued, with 60,000 Acutis stamps and 50,000 Frassati stamps prepared for release.
- Special postmarks have been created, featuring inscriptions reflecting the lives of Acutis and Frassati and will be available after the canonization event.
- The Frassati postmark includes his signature and the phrase 'Verso l'alto', celebrating his adventurous spirit.
