- On Thursday, June 18, TransLink recorded 1.36 million boardings, its highest ridership since early 2020, as fans traveled to the Canada-Qatar FIFA World Cup match at BC Place Stadium.
- The record ridership occurred amid Canada's historic 2-1 victory over Qatar, as thousands of fans marched along Quebec Street toward BC Place Stadium before and after the match.
- SkyTrain experienced the largest surge with 561,700 boardings, a 25 per cent increase, while SeaBus jumped 66 per cent with 26,600 boardings and Bridgeport Station recorded a 37.1 per cent increase.
