Child rape suspect arrested after attempting to flee Vancouver home
Police on Friday arrested a Vancouver man after a 12-year-old girl allegedly was raped. Suliaman Abdul-Hadi, 24, faces allegations of second- and third-degree rape of a child, communication with a minor for immoral purposes, supplying liquor to minors, disorderly conduct, obstructing a police officer and failing to register as a sex offender, the Vancouver Police Department said in a statement.
Operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Davao del Norte Provincial Field Unit in collaboration with the Sto. Tomas Municipal Police Station arrested alias “Segara” in Purok. Sto. Niño, Brgy. Kinamayan, Sto. Tomas, Davao del Norte.
