The Ministry of Agriculture extends until 30 September 2026 the compulsory vaccination of bovine animals against contagious nodular dermatosis (CND) in the south-west vaccination zone I. The vaccination campaign will continue until 31 December 2026 in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques "to ensure a homogeneous vaccination" along the Spanish border.
Having refused to have their animals vaccinated during the dermatosis epidemic, 13 breeders challenged the prefect's sanctions against them this Thursday before the Council of State.
