UWCF Invests $17K to Support Families

The United Way of Franklin and Ripley Counties is proud to announce more than $17,000 in community investments supporting local programs that provide food assistance, clothing, essential needs and student support for families throughout the region. Recent funding awards include:  $5,000 to Ripley County Community Foundation to support the Turnover Hunger Backpack program  $2,000 to Summer Food for Kids of Batesville through the Batesville United Methodist Church  $7,500 to Milan Cares Central for summer camp  $1,500 to So Loved Kids Clothing Closet to provide clothing and toiletries  $1,500 to Red Life Food pantry These investments reflect [...]
