Police Complete Evacuation of Utrecht University Building, 49 Demonstrators Arrested

Police evacuated a building on the Drift in Utrecht on Monday evening. The building of the Faculty of Humanities of Utrecht University was occupied by pro-Palestine activists early in the afternoon. 49 activists were arrested during the evacuation.

A few dozen pro-Palestine protesters have taken over the building of Utrecht University (UU) on the Drift in Utrecht. They are demanding that the university breaks with Israeli organizations, otherwise they will not leave.
