Utah homeschooling community wants to dismantle law meant to stop child abusers from homeschooling, says it’s not effective

This bill, HB209, removes a requirement meant to keep convicted child abusers from homeschooling. That requirement seemed like a good idea at the time, sponsor Rep. Nicholeen Peck said, but she argued it's caused too much confusion and lacks "teeth."
