Iran’s Foreign Minister Warns US of Rising Economic Costs From ‘War of Choice’
Araghchi said Americans would bear rising costs, citing auto loan delinquencies at a more than 30-year high and warning against further US escalation.
Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned that the US will face rising economic consequences due to its 'war of choice' on Iran.
Araghchi highlighted that Americans would bear growing economic burdens, citing auto loan delinquencies in the US reaching a more than 30-year high.
The conflict escalated after strikes by the US and Israel against Iran started on February 28, leading to retaliations and increased regional tensions, including closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
A ceasefire began on April 8, but efforts to secure lasting peace have not been fully successful.
