USS Abraham Lincoln heads to Thailand for a brief stop after lengthy deployment at sea

- Thai officials emphasized the visit is a routine procedure unrelated to regional conflicts, with the Associated Press reporting no military exercises will occur during the stopover.
- The Lincoln was recently relieved by the USS George Washington, which now operates in the Arabian Sea alongside the USS George and the USS Boxer to maintain regional presence.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Bekayi described the departure of the US aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln from the Middle East to Thailand as “the end of Washington's show of force” in the region.
