The University of São Paulo (USP) is the second best university in Latin America and the Caribbean, according to the QS World University Rankings released on Thursday (1st). The Brazilian institution was behind only the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (PUC Chile). The State University of Campinas (Unicamp) appears in third place in the regional classification.
