The Croatian Office for the Suppression of Corruption and Organized Crime (USKOK) announced today that it has filed an indictment against former Health Minister Vili Beroš and seven accomplices for corruption in the procurement of medical equipment, which damaged the state budget by more than 740,000 euros.

Croatia's anti-corruption prosecutor's office on Wednesday indicted former Health Minister Vili Beroš and seven others on multiple corruption charges, including bribery and money laundering, in connection with the overpriced procurement of medical equipment, TASR reports, citing AFP.
Beros is suspected of receiving a bribe of 75,000 euros.
