Croatian police have made new arrests in connection with the illegal dumping of tens of thousands of tons of waste, including from Slovenia, in the Gospić, Benkovac and Senj areas. According to Croatian media, the investigation is expanding, covering new suspects and companies involved in illegal waste management.
Hundreds and hundreds of trucks on the D50 state road were loading and unloading waste in Gospić and Benkovac, and that stench is spreading throughout Croatia, but it is not only reaching the built area of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, Hajdaš Dončić claimed.
