USDA: Cattle Herd Expands Slightly

Over 100 people traveled to the Cherokee Sale Barn on July 10 to compete in the Sixth Annual Cherokee Commercial Cattle Grading contest. Tina Colby, USDA agricultural marketing service officer in charge, served as the official. The cattle were provided by Cherokee Sale Barn (cows) and Starks/Hughes Cattle Company (feeder cattle).
