USC Quarterback Husan Longstreet Announces He's Entering Transfer Portal

USC quarterback Husan Longstreet is entering the NCAA transfer portal, which remains open until Jan. 16 for exploring other programs.
When he signed a year ago, Longstreet arrived as a five-star recruit expected to be USC's future quarterback but appeared in four games last season backing returning starter Jayden Maiava.
In college action, Husan Longstreet completed 13 passes for 15 yards and rushed for 76 yards and two touchdowns, highlighting his on-field résumé.
He entered the portal the same day his brother Kevin Longstreet transferred to New Mexico State, where Kevin was rated a three-star transfer by on3.com.
USC will decide whether to pursue a transfer or develop incoming freshman Jonas Williams, a four-star recruit, as Lincoln Riley noted few quarterbacks start immediately at USC.
