US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will lead a large business delegation to Uzbekistan in mid-October and participate in a ministerial-level meeting with five Central Asian countries, the US special envoy to the region said.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will visit Uzbekistan in October with a large delegation of American business circles
Representatives from more than 100 U.S. companies will accompany Rubio to the city of Samarkand in Uzbekistan to "develop the U.S.-Central Asia strategic partnership and strengthen bilateral diplomatic and commercial cooperation," said U.S. Ambassador to India Sergio Gore, who also serves as special envoy for Central and South Asia.
