Trump Should Raise Cases of Prisoners in China With Xi: Federal Commission

The U.S. Religious Freedom Watch is urging President Trump to raise the issue of people imprisoned in China for their beliefs at his upcoming summit with Chinese leader Xi Jinping. CeCe Heil, vice chair of the USCIRF committee, stated that Kim Min-il's release demonstrates that Xi Jinping "has the right, if he so desires, to release prisoners on the FoRB victim list," and that he "has an obligation to do so" under international law.
