US Postal Service unveils new series of 10 Barbie Doll stamps
The series highlights 10 professions Barbie has represented over 65 years, including nurse, astronaut and judge, USPS said.
- The U.S. Postal Service released 10 Forever stamps honoring Barbie's career evolution, unveiled earlier this month at the National Barbie Doll Collectors Convention in Austin, Texas.
- Created by Mattel in 1959 as "The Original Teenage Fashion Model," Barbie has represented more than 250 careers over 65 years, embodying the message "You can be anything."
- Designed by USPS art director Ethel Kessler in collaboration with Mattel, the series features photography from Mattel. Postal Service director of stamp services Lisa Bobb-Semple said the stamps highlight "modern careers depicted across the decades."
- Collectors can purchase the stamps through The Postal Store or Post Office locations nationwide. Mattel simultaneously unveiled its 2026 Signature Collection Barbie Holiday Doll ahead of the upcoming Nutcracker animated special.
- The 2026 Holiday Doll features Barbie in a red gown with dramatic bow detailing and is available in multiple skin tones and hairstyles, continuing a tradition dating back to 1988.
