The Norwegian state energy company Equinor, the former Statoil, recorded a net assigned profit of 3,939 million dollars (3,362 million euros) in the first half of 2025, representing a fall of 13% from the result counted by the company in the same period of the previous year. In the second trimester, the attributed result of the Scandinavian firm recorded a year-on-year decrease of 29.4%, up to 1,313 million dollars (1,121 million euros).
