Last weekend, U.S. Marine Corps units have reinforced their presence in Japan with the arrival of a new squadron of F-35 Lightning II poaching fighters, which will remain there for a period of six months according to initial plans. Particularly, these are units coming from Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 211, with a seat at Yuma Marine Corps Air Station (Arizona), while their new deployment point will be the Iwakuni Air Station.
