GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE, AUG 1 – Steve Witkoff visited a Gaza aid site supported by the US and Israel amid a worsening crisis where over 100 million meals have been delivered but violence and shortages persist, experts say.
- In a rare visit on Friday, White House special envoy Steve Witkoff and U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee toured a Gaza Humanitarian Foundation site in Rafah, run by an Israeli-backed American contractor.
- U.S. envoy’s visit came a week after ceasefire talks in Qatar collapsed amid a humanitarian crisis at aid distribution sites, marked by violence and shortages.
