US-Israeli defense startup Covenant plans to mass produce a heavy-payload, long-range cruise missile at a new factory in eastern Germany as NATO allies look for ways to refill depleted stocks of precision-strike weapons.
The company Covenant has announced to build cruise missiles for European customers in Saxony from 2027. The weapons will be built in the Leipzig area.
