US Regulators Close Jeep Fire Danger Investigation Amid Stellantis Recall of 1M Vehicles

- Chrysler recalled nearly 1.08 million vehicles in June, expanding the scope to cover all 2021-2025 Jeep Wranglers and any Gladiators manufactured between June 24, 2020, and December 2, 2024 to address the identified safety concern.
- The NHTSA urged owners to park their vehicles outside and away from other vehicles and buildings until repairs were made; Stellantis customer service remains available at 800-853-1403 for recall information.
- Although the probe is closed, regulators will continue monitoring field performance and could take additional action in the future if the safety situation warrants further intervention.
