US Treasury’s OFAC issues licence permitting Russian-origin diesel fuel imports until April 7, 2027 - The Tribune
According to the document issued by the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), General License No. 135 permits transactions that would otherwise be prohibited under the Russian Harmful Foreign Activities Sanctions Regulations and the Ukraine-/Russia-Related Sanctions Regulations.
The license of the Foreign Assets Control Office (OFAC) allows these operations despite sanctions against Russia, but maintains the restrictions on payments through accounts of three financial bodies of the Russian State.
The lifting of sanctions on Russian diesel fuel is unlikely to reduce fuel prices; Trump ' s decision may run counter to the Russian Energy Prohibition Act.
