The House of Senators approved the bill that introduces amendments to the Comprehensive Law against the Laundering of Assets (Law 19.574), a regulation considered key to preventing and combating the income of illicit money to the economic system. The initiative obtained 19 votes in 28 and was supported by the 17 senators of the Broad Front and the colored legislators Pedro Bordaberry and Tabaré Viera, both from the sector Vamos Uruguay.
