Herkimer County, N.Y. - An on-duty sheriff’s lieutenant has been charged with multiple felonies after cocaine was discovered in an unmarked sheriff’s car he was driving on the Thruway, troopers said. The drugs were discovered during a traffic stop on the interstate in Herkimer County, State Police said in a news release Saturday.
