Upper Saône. Cerfs and Wild Boars Shot Down at Night: the Trial "of Animal Killers" Deliberated

At least 12 deer and 12 wild boars were killed illegally, at night, in communes of Haute-Saône between 2023 and 2024. The animals were left on site. Two suspected individuals appeared on Tuesday 29 September in the court of Vesoul after an investigation by the gendarmes of Vesoul and the French Biodiversity Office. The judgement was deliberated on Tuesday 13 October.
