UPDATED: Governor vetoes budget, says drop business tax cut, put $40M to GMH; lawmakers back to session

Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero vetoed the fiscal year 2026 budget act on Friday morning, asking lawmakers to instead pass a budget with no reduction in business privilege taxes and $40 million more for the Guam Memorial Hospital.
