UPDATE (2/18/26): A third defendant has now pleaded guilty in connection with the Morris Bank fraud scheme. According to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Georgia on Wednesday, 57-year-old James Kevin Meyers of Gray pleaded guilty Wednesday to one count of causing the filing of false currency transaction reports.
