Update: The severe thunderstorm warning for Southeast Michigan is predicted to expire at 7:30 p.m. EDT

The warning had been issued for Branch, Hillsdale and St. Joseph counties."The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, heavy rain is still possible with these thunderstorms," states the National Weather Service.
