Update: The current severe thunderstorm warning for Luzerne County will be expiring at 4:30 p.m.
The warning was issued for Luzerne County."The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the area. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 10 p.m. for northeastern Pennsylvania," according to the National Weather Service.

The warning was issued for Tompkins County."The tornado threat has diminished and the Tornado Warning has been cancelled. However, large hail and damaging winds remain likely and a Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for the area. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 10 p.m. for central New York," states the National Weather Service.
