Update: The current tornado warning for Tompkins County will be expiring at 2:15 p.m.

Update: The current severe thunderstorm warning for Luzerne County will be expiring at 4:30 p.m.

The warning was issued for Luzerne County."The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the area. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 10 p.m. for northeastern Pennsylvania," according to the National Weather Service.

However, large hail and damaging winds remain likely and a Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for the area. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 10 p.m. for central New York," states the National Weather Service.
