Update: The current flood warning for Jackson County will be expiring at 1:30 p.m.

The warning was active for Jackson County."The Flood Warning will expire at 1:30 p.m. this afternoon for portions of northeast Alabama, including the following area, Jackson and southern middle Tennessee, including the following area, Franklin TN. Flood waters have receded. The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures," according to the National Weather Service.
