(Batesville, IN) – State Road 229 from Mulberry Street to County Road 1400 North is closed until further notice due to flooding. The Batesville Police Department says this includes southbound 229 from Huntersville Road. Southeastern Indiana has been hit in recent days with heavy and steady rain falling on top of saturated ground.
