UPDATE: Power knocked out after vehicle hits hydro pole in Chilliwack

Power was knocked out to more than 800 customers and a portion of a road was shut down in Chilliwack following a crash on Tuesday. It happened shortly before 10:30 a.m. on Hope River Road near McSween Road where a vehicle hit a pole on April 28. There was damage to a hydro pole, and a telecommunications pole on the other side of the road was also affected, according to emergency crews on scene.
