UPDATE 8/18/2025: On August 11, 2025, Andre Xavier Howe, 18, of Huntingtown, was found guilty of attempted second degree murder, two counts of first degree assault, and use of a firearm by Calvert County Circuit Court Judge Mark S. Chandlee. The guilty finding followed the entry of an Alford plea, whereby Mr. Howe acknowledged that the State’s evidence was sufficient to convict him.
