Update: High surf advisory in place for South Central Oregon Coast and Curry County Coast from Thursday to Sunday

The National Weather Service released an updated high surf advisory at 4:37 a.m. on Wednesday valid from Thursday 11 a.m. until Sunday 8 p.m. for South Central Oregon Coast and Curry County Coast."Large breaking waves of 20 to 28 feet with a high risk of sneaker waves during any lulls in high surf," can be anticipated according to the weather service. "Waves are likely most dangerous during the run up to high tide."
