The Mexican monsoon, coupled with a cyclonic circulation, will generate squalls and heavy rains accompanied by electric shocks in Baja California Sur, Sonora, Chihuahua, Durango and Sinaloa; as well as intense spot rains in Nayarit (south).
Rainfall is still present in much of the Republic. In June 2025, Mexico experienced a period of historical rains, especially in Mexico City (CDMX), where the most intense precipitations were recorded in decades.
