Guardaparques and specialized personnel removed about 400 kilos of coins from the Iguazú riverbed, in the area of the Falls. The finding occurred during underwater cleaning tasks in the Iguazú National Park. Authorities warned about the environmental impact generated by the coins thrown by tourists as “amulet” or tradition.
