Last week, Brazilian police caught several scammers in Rio de Janeiro who lured tourists to eat snacks and then had them pay exorbitant amounts of money through a payment terminal. According to local police, Czechs were among those defrauded.
On the Brazilian beach of Copacabana, a man tried to rip off tourists with a counterfeit payment terminal. He was arrested after having charged a British man €1,700 for a meat skewer.
