UNT names Cody White, who excelled at Central Oklahoma, as its new softball coach

North Texas is turning to one of the elite coaches on the Division II level to take over its softball program.

DENTON, Texas – UNT Vice President and Director of Athletics Jared Mosley announced the hiring of Cody White as the sixth head softball coach in program history on Thursday. Prior to joining the Mean Green, White led the University of Central Oklahoma to 10 NCAA Division II tournament appearances over 12 years.
