Unknown Temple in Heijo-Kyo? Remains Covered with Tiles Confirmed (Kyodo News)

On the 24th, the Nara Prefectural Kashihara Archaeological Institute announced that an excavation survey of the Heijo-kyo site in Nara City had uncovered remains of tiles and other materials spread across a 15-meter north-south span. The remains are presumed to be the base of a building, and it has also been confirmed that the remains of several other buildings are lined up surrounding it.
