University of Michigan receives $2M gift to endow Asian art curator position

ANN ARBOR, MI — A University of Michigan alumnus has donated $2 million to establish a permanent curator position dedicated to Asian art at the UM Museum of Art (UMMA), 525 S. State St., in Ann Arbor, marking only the second endowed curatorial role in the museum’s history, according to an April 17 Michigan News release.
