University of Illinois study reveals where ticks are most common in Illinois

A recent study by the University of Illinois found that three species of ticks are common in Illinois, with the lone star tick most prevalent in southern Illinois, the black-legged tick in the northern and central portions of the state, and the dog tick in the central and southern parts of the state.
