University Of Augsburg Team Designs Valence Bond Embeddings For Deep Chemistry Simulations

Shallow quantum circuits now model molecular systems previously beyond reach, offering approximations comparable to exact solutions. This advance extends the limits of variational quantum eigensolvers, bypassing the need for fragmented methods of selecting active spaces. By combining Fermionic-Bosonic encodings with Quantum Valence Bond Theory, a unified path towards complete quantum circuits has been realised.
