University City residents push for flood prevention measures

The St. Louis area was hit by historic flooding in July of 2022, which resulted in multiple deaths and millions of dollars in damages. Hundreds of homes were damaged by floodwaters in University City alone. Now, neighbors in U-City are continuing their push for flood mitigation measures and are calling on the city to be more proactive before the next extreme weather event strikes.
