United States in line to host another major global sporting event in 2031

FIFA's president says its received one expression of interest to host the 2031 edition and that's from the U.S., with Mexico maybe later joining the bid.

Belgrade. FIFA President Gia-nni Infantino revealed that Mexico could organize, together with the United States, an edition of the Women’s World Cup, after yesterday announcing that the neighboring country and the United Kingdom are ready to be elected next year as venues for the 2031 and 2035 tournaments.
