Wabasso American Legion Auxiliary announce Poppy Poster Contest winners - Redwood Falls Gazette
Over 100 students in school district #640 participated in the local poppy poster contest. Instead of participating in the state wide contest, the students competed locally so the community of Wabasso and area towns can enjoy the great art work. With the guidance of the fourth, fifth and sixth grade teachers and the art teacher, Deb Knott at St. Anne’s, the students turned in such quality posters that it was difficult for the judges to choose!
Unit 109 Names Poppy Poster Winners
Just prior to National Poppy Day, which will be celebrated this year on Friday, May 23, five Turner Public School (TPS) students were announced as Poppy Poster winners in an impromptu ceremony on May 14.
