Romania Ministry of National Defense: 'On the morning of Monday, August 24, around 6:00 a.m., the MApN radar surveillance system detected intermittent signals in the airspace of the Republic of Moldova, Cahul area. One of the signals later appeared in the Târgu Bujor area, Galați County.Two Romanian Air Force F-16 aircraft from the 86th Air Base at Borcea, and one IAR-330 SOCAT helicopter, were scrambled to monitor the situation.The National Military Command Center (core) notified the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations regarding the implementation of population alert measures in the affected area.'
