A respected scholar from Harvard university was due to visit Wales recently in order to launch a paperback version of a book presenting his work. Werner Sollors had planned to visit Swansea at the end of June for the launch of The Werner Sollors Reader: Ethnicity, Cosmopolitanism and Particularism, but due to the high heat affecting parts of Europe at the time, he had to cancel the visit due to his age.
