Undercover fentanyl sales lead to prison for Springfield resident

SPRINGFIELD — Three fentanyl sales to undercover law enforcement officers helped land a Springfield man in prison, according to federal prosecutors.Emilio Garcia-Cappas, 29, was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Mark G. Mastroianni to four years in prison, followed by six years of supervised release, according to a statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts.
